Funeral services of Thomas Brown who died at the Jasonville Hospital Friday evening of acute appendicitis were held at the home in Cloverdale Monday afternoon. Mr. Brown was employed as a night watchman at the coal mine near Jasonville. On Thursday afternoon he was stricken with acute appendicitis and died within 48 hours.  Because of the seriousness of the attack an operation was impossible. Beside the widow, two sons, William of Indianapolis and Otis at home and two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Trout of Fillmore and Mrs. John Gill of Bloomington survive him. - kb
